Claudia Amaral, originally from Argentina, has always embraced a diverse range of passions, never limiting herself to just one.
“I never had only one source of income or one exclusive activity because I have multiple passions; why would I limit myself to one? 25 years ago, I started with reflexology (Reflexology is an alternative medical practice that involves applying pressure to certain parts of the foot and hand, although I specialize in the feet), and today I still have clients. I have had one for 23 years!”
Alongside reflexology, Claudia finds great joy working at Seda, her daughter’s lingerie business, where she ensures product quality.
“I enjoy that job because I always have many things to do. It gives me satisfaction to organize, especially when it is a disaster.”
Claudia believes that engaging in various activities keeps her vibrant and motivated. Her wide array of interests includes her love for Scrabble.
“One of my other passions is Scrabble. I'm a world champion Scrabble player. I've played it all my life, but I started playing it professionally 25 years ago and attended 15 of 24 championships.”
Although she’s scaled back her participation in Scrabble, she has learned to listen to her body and mind.
“Scrabble is very demanding and requires a lot of energy and mental agility, and the reality is that I was no longer enjoying it as before. I think it's key to look for things that make you feel alive and happy. If it no longer makes you happy, then that's your sign to stop.”

“Age is never going to be an obstacle. If you think that you cannot do something because you are 70 years old, probably at 20 you also thought the same. A very true saying says, ‘Genius and figure until the grave,’ it is never age; the limitations are in the person.”
