We are continually working to enhance the security of our platform, providing you with peace of mind as you engage in learning. As part of these efforts, we are updating some of our systems and giving a fresh look to the GetSetUp experience you know and love.
Introducing The Lobby: A Secure and Interactive Space
The Lobby is our newest platform for launching Zoom sessions. Our engineers have created this secure and unique waiting space where learners can join before class begins. In The Lobby, you can review the class objectives, learn more about the Guides, and soon, you’ll be able to chat with other learners both before and after the class.
Once available, this chat feature will remain live throughout the class and for 30 minutes after the session ends. If a learner joins The Lobby after the class has been in session for 15 minutes, they will need to contact support directly at help@getsetup.io or call +1-(888)-559-1614 (USA) to receive the Zoom password and gain access to the class.
Entrance to The Lobby is restricted to registered and logged-in users, ensuring that only those who are supposed to be in class are allowed entry, keeping out any spammers or Zoom bombers.
One-Time Password (OTP) for Enhanced Security
New learners—those who have not booked a class on GetSetUp before June 1, 2021—will be required to enter their phone numbers as an additional layer of security using a One-Time Password (OTP).
An OTP is a 4-digit number automatically generated for a single login attempt to your account. When you sign up for a new GetSetUp account, you will be asked for your name, email address, and mobile phone number. You will then receive an OTP code via text message. Simply enter the code in the provided space on the sign-up screen, press “Done,” and you’re ready to embark on great learning adventures!
This code will keep you logged in for 90 days. After this period, or if you manually log out, you’ll need a new OTP to log back in securely. Your phone number is only visible to you and our login system, ensuring your privacy is protected.
Continuing to Make GetSetUp Better and Safer
For members with accounts and passwords created before June 2021, you will continue to log in using your email and password. If you accessed GetSetUp classes with just an email address without a password, you’ll be prompted to complete your account registration using your email. Once done, you can continue logging in with your email and enjoy all that GetSetUp has to offer.
